Bursledon Art Society was formed over 30 years ago and we have had an annual art exhibition in the Village Hall, Long Lane, Bursledon, Hampshire, ever since. The original committee members, Tom Richardson, Wendy Jelbert, Felix Neville-Toule and Bill Fanner, organised a painting exhibition during the Bursledon Regatta at the Elephant Boatyard. It was such a success and attracted so many local artists that the idea of having a larger, annual exhibition was born.

This Christmas Exhibition is a focal point for invited and local artists and craftsmen, to show off their talents in painting, glasswork, pottery, jewellery and sculpture.

Each year we present three trophies, voted for by the visitors to the show. These include The Fanner Prize for the favourite framed artwork, The Hall Cup for the favourite unframed artwork and The Felix Trophy for the favourite three dimensional exhibit.

If you would like to exhibit, please send an image of your work, a link to your website, to art@rosingram.co.uk
