Welcome. The Bursledon Art Society was formed over 30 years ago and has held a successful annual art exhibition in the Village Hall, Long Lane, Burlsedon ever since. We have many talented artists and crafters involved in the exhibition offering an ecclectic collection of artworks.
Thank you to everyone who helped to make last year’s Winter Exhibition a great success. This year’s art exhibition is to be held on 24th and 25th November 2018. Please visit ‘Our exhibitions’ page for further information. If you are an artist, whatever medium, who would like to be involved, please contact us with examples of your work. Email addresses are on the ‘Contact us’ page.
Bursledon Art Society was formed over 30 years ago; the original committee members, Tom Richardson, Wendy Jelbert, Felix Neville-Toule and Bill Fanner, organised a painting exhibition during the Bursledon Regatta at the Elephant Boatyard. It was such a success and attracted so many local artists that the idea of having a larger, annual exhibition was born.
Now that Felix and Bill are no longer with us, Rosalind Jelbert-Ingram and Helon Jones have now joined us making it such a wonderfully successful annual Winter event. It is a focal point for invited and local artists and crafters, to show off their talents in painting, pottery, jewellery and sculpture. If you would like to exhibit, please get in touch.
You are very welcome to come and join us for our art exhibitons where we show many talented artist’s work. Our yearly Winter show is held at Bursledon Village Hall, Long Lane, Bursledon, Southampton, Hampshire SO31 8BZ - this year the date for the diary is Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th November 2018.
